Dr. Swanson was born and raised in Illinois, and is a Midwesterner at heart. Her greatest motivation for founding Midwest Veterinary Surgery, LLC was to make high-quality specialty veterinary surgery more accessible to communities throughout the Midwest while also cultivating strong relationships with the referring veterinary community. Dr. Swanson enjoys surgery because she gets joy out of making an immediate difference in the lives of animals by improving their quality of life and strengthening the human-animal bond. Midwest Veterinary Surgery, LLC is here to help you provide the highest quality care for your patients while helping your practice increase the level of surgical service offered to your clients and patients. I welcome the opportunity to visit with you to discuss cases and how I can help you grow your practice through utilization of my specialty surgical services. Below are a few items to keep in mind as we move forward together:

  • MVS brings all of the surgical equipment and instruments needed to perform surgery to your hospital.
  • Your hospital provides the surgical preparation of the patient, anesthesia monitoring, medications, and postoperative care.
  • Surgeries and consultations (when available) can be requested through the Vet Portal by filling out the New Case Submission/Refer A Case Form. MVS will contact you once the completed form is received to schedule a suitable day/time. Surgical procedures and consultations with MVS are scheduled directly through your hospital or practice.
  • Surgical service terms: Payment is appreciated upon completion at the time services rendered. At this time, the preferred method of payment is in the form of check. If you are interested in pricing information, please feel free to contact me.
